Hi, my name is Holly and I am the receptionist here at Pathway Animal Hospital. I have been in the animal medical field for six years, working in all departments. My passion for animals started when I was a kid, and I am so blessed to be living my dream of taking care of them. I currently have one dog and one cat. When I’m not working, I am spending quality time with my family. I also love hiking, going to festivals and watching movies. It’s so exciting to be here and I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies!
A native of Texas, Emily Boone moved to Fayette county with her family in 2010. She knew from a young age that she belonged in the veterinary field as she grew up with pets from all walks of life: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, frogs, butterflies — you name it. As soon as she could, she started working as a kennel assistant in high school. As she worked on her Biology degree at the University of North Georgia, she continued flourishing in animal care at zoos, equine stables, and several domestic veterinary clinics. “I’ve known since I was 9 years old that I wanted to be a veterinarian, but a study abroad trip to Africa sealed the deal for me.” Emily’s diverse knowledge and years of experience are unparalleled; however, her passion for leadership, animal welfare, and client education make her a valuable asset to our team.
During her free time, Emily can be found singing and playing piano at various restaurants and events, kayaking, mountain biking, and spending time with her family and pets at home.
